Beeswax has antibacterial properties that act as a natural barrier, protecting your food and allowing it to breathe. Use the warmth of your hands to mold and adhere the wraps directly onto the food or a container.
To clean, hand wash with a gentle soap & luke warm water, then air dry. A wrap's lifespan will vary based on use, but expect a minimum of 6 months.
The wraps are biodegradable when they reach the end of their lifespan. Be sure to put them in your compost so the environment can love them too.
Keep food fresh AND save the environment
By making one small change in your household, you are helping to make a difference in the world. Becoming more "green" can often be overwhelming and leave you wondering, "Where do I start?" That's how we felt! However, by eliminating plastic wrap or plastic food bags, you are contributing to the 100+ million square feet of plastic wrap that food wraps (like us!) have saved over the last two years.
Meet the Founder
My name is Justine and I am the face behind Cera Alba. I’ve lived in Pitt Meadows my whole life and am excited to build a brand in my hometown.
I currently work full time as a Graphic Designer and spend most of my free time making wraps. Any remaining time is spent with my hubby and our two pups - Gracie and Wilson!
I find myself feeling overwhelmed easily at all of the ways to be more environmentally friendly - And to be honest, I’m not that good at it! That’s part of the reason I started Cera Alba. I’m so excited to see where this journey leads me.
